Brick and Mortar Masonry was built on a foundation of hard work, resilience, and family unity. Our dad, Rob, has spent his life in the masonry trade—his skills shaped by decades of experience and a deep passion for the craft. In 2008, he launched his first masonry business, which weathered tough seasons. But in 2019, he and our mom, Sophia, reignited the vision and created what is now Brick and Mortar Masonry.
With Sophia’s background in communications and HR, she led the charge in getting us licensed, bonded, and insured as a woman-owned construction company in Arizona. Rob’s knowledge, industry relationships, and field expertise laid the groundwork for our high standards. Today, our family works side-by-side—Rob in the field, Sophia in operations, Sarah (me) in marketing and management, and our brother Robbie training to lead future field operations.
